dear all,

here i am in notting hill. everything is all right, please don’t worry.

the family i’m staying with is very nice. they introduced me to some of our neighbors.

i have made a lot of friends there. we meet up almost every evening to go for something to eat or to see a film.

i have made a lot of discoveries, for example, the english are far stranger than i’ve expected. they are not friendly to outsiders. everyone’s been really nice to me since i got there.

я здесь в ноттинг-хилле. все в порядке, , не волнуйтесь.

семья, в которой я живу, приятная. они познакомили меня с некоторыми из наших соседей.

у меня там много друзей. мы встречаемся почти каждый вечер, чтобы пойти что-нибудь поесть или посмотреть фильм.

я сделала много открытий, например, более странные, чем я ожидала. они не дружат с посторонними. с тех пор, как я добралась сюда, все были милы /добры ко мне.
