Nowadays, computer games are becoming more and more popular all over the world, especially among adolescents, and are becoming more accessible. They are a convenient and inexpensive form of relaxation, recreation and entertainment. Sometimes, after downloading slot machines for free to your computer, they cost nothing at all. you can test them even without internet access.
Those who love these games claim to get many benefits from them. Their opponents, in turn, argue that young people should spend their free time in healthier ways, such as playing sports. So, let's try to intelligibly discuss this phenomenon, its advantages and disadvantages.
On the one hand, computer games help develop memory. In fact, during the game, you try to remember as much information as possible, which allows you to achieve the best results and ultimately win. They also enhance quick response and improve motor skills. In addition, these games develop your logical thinking, computer skills and, just as important, your fluency in English.
While chatting, you can meet new people and make virtual friends. If you like each other, you date and therefore become close friends in real life.
On the other hand, playing computer games can negatively affect your health. First, your vision may deteriorate. Secondly, if you sit still for a long time, you can gain weight and risk becoming obese. Addicted gamblers tend to neglect their regular meals and end up eating unhealthy foods that harm their stomachs.
In addition, many people spend too much time playing games, which can ruin human relationships. Another aspect is that such games include aggressive elements that cause nervousness and even cruelty in the participants, inducing cruelty and other forms of antisocial behavior.
To summarize, the issue under consideration has almost as many strengths as there are weaknesses. In the end, everyone makes their own decisions.
Personally, I prefer to spend evenings and weekends with family and friends (real, not virtual!). To be honest, from time to time I try to involve them in my favorite computer games, although the latter are far from my only hobby.
