She decided that if she wanted to be a pop star she’d have to leave home and get lodgings in London. She finally got a room, but it was on the outskirts of the city. The owner didn’t live on the premises, so she could make as much noise as she liked. The acoustics in the bathroom was
fantastic, so she practiced there. She made so much noise she almost shook the foundations! She went to the headquarters of the Musicians’ Union, but a guy there said she just didn’t have a good enough looks to be famous. Oh well, never mind!
What would a list of mysterious places be without a mention of the Bermuda Triangle? For anyone who doesn’t know, it’s a triangular area in the Atlantic ocean, between Miami, Bermuda and San Juan. Over the years, the area has captured our imaginations, with reports of seemingly unexplainable disappearances of planes, ships and people. No one can say for sure what happened in these cases, but theories are as far ranging as sea monsters, alien abduction and simple weather conditions.
