TITANIC
(1) It was a big international hit. It made $1.8 billion and it won
eleven Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
The film was expensive to make, and it included many computer-
generated images. (2)
It tells the story of two passengers from different social classes. Rose
is a seventeen-year-old rich girl. (3) On the ship she meets Jack
Dawson, a third-class passenger. (4) But tragically, the ship sinks
and Jack dies.
The love story between the two main characters is fictional. (5)
Some people, like Margaret Brown, who tried to save other
passengers, were very famous in real-life.
In 2010, the director, James Cameron, made another best-selling
film, Avatar. (6) That's why Cameron is such a famous
