Sorry, I HAVEN`T WRITTEN sooner but I`VE BEEN busy with my cousins in Scotland. How are things there? What you HAVE BEEN up recently? It`s really great here.
I`VE JUST COME from a Burns Night supper. People HAVE BEEN CELEBRATING the work of this famous Scotish poet, Robert Burns, for over two centuries. They ARE CERVE cock-a-leekie soup which is made with chicken and leeks. Then, while serving the main dish, haggis, pipers PLAY the bagpipes and the cook PUTS the haggis on the host`s table. They FINISH the night with some party.
I have to go now. I`VE BEEN SURFING the Net for the past 2 hours and my cousin IS STILL WAITING for me to get ready to go shopping.
Bye
Sally
I HAVEN`T WRITTEN - Present Perfect т.к.
I`VE BEEN - Present Perfect Continuous
I`VE JUST COME - Present Perfect
HAVE BEEN CELEBRATING - Present Perfect Continuous –
CERVE, PUTS, FINISH - Present Simple,
I`VE BEEN SURFING – Present Perfect Continuous
IS STILL WAITING - Present Continous
