Типы вопросов в английском языке:
1) Общий вопрос. Задается ко всему предложению в целом, ответить на него можно одним словом (да/нет).

2) Альтернативный вопрос. Предполагает наличие выбора между объектами/действиями/качествами. Его особенностью является наличие союза or (или).
Do your friends like to eat pies or cakes? My friends like to eat pies.
3) Специальный вопрос. На первом месте всегда стоит вопросительное слово.
What do your friends like to eat? They like to eat pies.
4) Вопрос к подлежащему.
Who likes to eat pies? My friends do.
5) Разделительный вопрос. Задается, чтобы проверить предположение или выразить сомнение. Отличается тем, что состоит из двух частей, разделенных запятой.
