Summer is a wonderful season of THE whole year. Some people say that it's their favourite season. I also enjoy summer holidays. There is no school. There are long sunny days, new friends and interesting things to see and to do.
At first I WAS in Pyatigorsk this summer. I was at my granny. There were many trees and mountains. The air WAS frish and clean. It was just fantastic!
Next I was in mathematical school also in mountains. I like it so much, because I meet there always a lot of interesting people and spend the time very well!
We all know that a great number of people go to the seaside in summer. In August I was at the sea with my family too.
So, at the end I can say that I have really gooD rested this summer!

Great Britain is one of those countries, which always attracts tourists. Rural landscapes, medieval castles and Gothic cathedrals, beautiful bridges, libraries, theatres, picture galleries, especially beautiful is night London, twinkling with lights are very often visited by them in the UK.The country is an island. The capital of Great Britain is London and, as it has been earlier mentioned this, country is a kingdom. The state consists of four «historical provinces»: England, Scotland, the Wales and Northern Ireland.Great Britain has possesses rich and ancient history, it is strange and surprising how such «a small country» could endure so many events. Great Britain headed industrial revolution in a XVIII-th century and since then has been giving to the world talented and famous scientists. Among main scientists of XVII-XVIII centuries we can name Isaac Newton, whose laws of movement are the bases of modern science. In the XIX-th century it is necessary to remember Charles Darwin, whose theory of evolution of natural selection is the basis of modern biological science. You shouldn`t forget also that the UK it the homeland of William Shakespeare. His play «Romeo and Juliet» is stayed at theaters till nowadays. And what about J. Rowling? The writer who presented us the whole magic world! And of course we will always remember the legendary group «The Beatles». My favourite song «She Loves You/I’ll Get You», it was the best selling single in Britain in 1963.
