Using tenses
When writing, be careful which tenses you use.
Use the Present Simple to describe a place or to say
what people usually do there.
. Use the Present Progressive to mention what you are
doing, and for your future arrangements.
• Use the Past Simple to describe what you did and when
you did it.
• Use the Present Perfect Simple to talk about what you
have already done.
• Use the Future be going to for your future plans.​

Одним из моих самых хороших дней был мой день рождения. На него пришли все мои друзья и родственники. Было много подарков, многие из которых я до этого не видел. Все ели торт и после мы играли, ближе к вечеру все гости стали расходиться по домам, потому что было уже поздно. После этого я был очень рад и мой день рождения стал самым хорошим днём!

In English:

One of my nicest days was my birthday. All my friends and relatives came to it. There were many gifts, many of which I had not seen before. Everyone ate cake and then we played, later in the evening all the guests began to go home, because it was already late. After that I was very happy and my birthday became the nicest day!

How I spend my summer holiday. I spend my holiday with my family and friends. I went with my family to the sea. We bath in the sea and lie on the sun. We visited many interesting historyc places. When I come back, I some times go with my friends for a walk. Some times we play in the yard and other places.. When the weather was raining I was at home, watch TV, and help my parents. I like my summer holiday very much Как я провел (-а) свои летние каникулы. Я провел (-а) их с родителями и друзьями. Я ездил (-а) с родителями на море. Мы купались и загорали. Мы побывали в многих интересных исторических местах. Когда я вернулся (-ась) то я иногда ходил (-а) на прогулку с друзьями. Иногда мы играли во дворе и других местах. Когда была плохая погода, я оставался (-ась) дома, смотрел (-а) телевизор и а) родителям. Я очень люблю свои каникулы.
