The Sumatran orang utan is a shy ape that lives in the jungle. they are mammals with long arms and red fur. they prefer to live on trees. they eat fruit , leavs and insects.
A hundred years ago,there were 40,000 orang utans,but in 2014 there were only 6,000 left. And organisations all over the world are trying to save the population of orang utans.
The big threat for their-is a cutting down trees to sell, because orang utans are lossing their habitat (home) . If poachers won't stop cutting jungle,the population of orang utans will grow. это про орангутанга.
