Tver is a city ~200 km away from Moscow.

He was born into a family of cattle breeder. It comes from the subgenus Aydabol of the Suyindyk clan of the Argyn tribe of the Middle Zhuz. His mother died when he was one year old. He graduated from the madrasah (1908-1910).
At the end of 1912, Toraigyrov came to Troitsk, enrolled in the spiritual Muslim school Rasulia: he studied science, mastered the Russian language - read Lermontov, Pushkin, Krylov. In July 1913 he left his studies because of illness and went to teach children in the village. Since 1913 he worked as a secretary in the editorial office of the first Kazakh magazine "Haykap", in the same place his first essays were published. The works of Toraigyrov were published by separate books already in Soviet times.

Warmly capturing the ideas of the leaders of "Alash", he admired them in his poems.
He died at the age of 26 from tuberculosis.
