A. It was a beautiful morning last summer and a warm gentle breeze was blowing when my dad and I left the harbour in our small sailing boat. My mum was standing on the pier waving happily, "Be careful, won't you?" she shouted as the boat moved slowly in the water. B. We sailed for about two hours before we reached
our favourite bay. Dad let down the anchor and tired the boat to a large rock on the shore using a long rope. We put on our masks and fins and the warm water. There were fish everywhere. It was amazing! Time passed by and suddenly the sky became dark grey and a strong wind started blowing. We were swimming back to the boat when suddenly a large wave came our way and threw my dad against a rock. I swam towards him and saw that he was unconscious. I grabbed him under the arms and pulled him to the yacht. It was difficult but somehow I managed to get him back on the boat.
C. I was terrified but I knew I had to save my dad. I used the boat's radio to call for help. Within minutes a rescue boat arrived and took us to the shore where an ambulance was waiting. My dad had a broken shoulder and a lot of cuts but he recovered quickly. I was glad that I saved him but it was the most frightening moment in my life.
