Cabbage belongs to the crucifer family. Numerous studies show that it is very useful for our health as a fighter against the cancer cells from the large number of antioxidants (vitamin C and beta carotene), which help fight free radicals, molecules that accelerate the destruction of our body cells. Also cabbage contains large amounts of vitamin B9 and folic acid that help in the formation of red blood cells and regulate the nervous system. This vegetable is still rich in fiber, stimulating peristalsis, this does not apply to a weakened bowel that is hard to digest the cabbage, especially heat-treated. To avoid these inconveniences, there is an exit: to blanch the Kale (drop it in plenty of boiling water for 2-3 min) before cooking (the water must be changed) or steamed.

My family has got many interesting traditional celebrations on the New Year's day. For example we all in our family decorate our house and the New Year tree. Grown-ups and the children dress up and wear masks and costumes.
On December,31 we make presents ready for our relatives and friends. Usually we give sweets or souvenirs as presents. Until 5:00 p.m we cook New Year supper.( The traditional New Year dish is chicken grilled with potatoes.). Then I go to my friend's place and come home at 9:00 p.m. Until 12:00 p.m we celebrate at home and give presents. Then we go to a "snow city "(The "snow city" is a little town made of ice. There is a New Year tree, icy attractions, a skating rink in the snow town. We have fun, go skating and tobogganing) and then we all go to our friend's place.
New Year is the most popular celebration in Russia. And I think New Year celebration with my family is great!
