My name is Alexandr. I am thirteen years old. I’m in the seventh grade. I like to go to school. My school life is joyful and entertaining. I like to find out much interesting and new information. My favourite subjects are algebra and geometry. I often take part in different mathematical academic competitions. Also I like sport. There are many sports groups in our school. Now I go in for basketball and karate. Our class is very united. Lessons of all our teachers are entertaining. Our form-mistress’ name is Natalya. Her second name is Valentinovna. We go to the cinema, museums, theatres and tourist trips with her. She helps us to prepare for competitions and we always take the first place. The holidays which take place in my school are very joyous. We invite parents, teachers, pupils of the primary school and prepare a concert for them. School life can be hard especially when you have to pass exams at the end of the year. But anyway I consider that school years are the best and the most wonderful!
Ну можно так например: I started school at the age of seven. It is a comprehensive school. At the moment I finished ... classes. At first I attended a primary school. The primary school curriculum included: Russian, maths, English, PT (physical trainings), music. And then after four years of primary school classes I went on to a secondary school. Secondary school consists of seven years classes, five of which are compulsory. After the ninth form one must take four examinations: in Russian, maths, and two by choise. I want to say that the main schools in Russia are comprehensive. There are also specialised schools which major in arts or sciences. There are lyceums and gymnasiums in Russia. Most of them are affiliated to universities and colleges. There are some private schools in our country too. Pupils go to school five or six days a week. Classes last 45 minutes, to school we must wear uniform. In general, education is free in our country.
