The air was salty, and the water squashed underfoot. I tried to find a dry place, as we understood that would not be able to get back on our own. The was no communication working. I got afraid for my life, but Tom tried not to show his fear. An hour later, we fell asleep. Our beds were cold stones of the cave.
In the morning I dreamed that I was at home with my parents. I was warm and comfortable, but then ... then I woke up from something dripping on my face. I could not sleep any more.
Once again, we began to look for a way out. Our phones had almost fully discharged, so we wandered around in the dark in a hope to see the light. Suddenly I heard an echo. Overcoming our fatigue, we stated walking faster. The voice was coming nearer. Oh! At last! I noticed shining of a flashlight. Those were the rescuers.
Never in my life had I been so glad to have dry clothes and some hot tea. It was a terrible journey that Tom and I will never forget all our lives.
