Alec: Hi, Boris.
Boris: Hello, Alec. Nice to see you. How did you spend your weekend?
Alec: Very well, thank you. I had a good time.
Boris: Did you go anywhere or did you stay at home?
Alec: We got permission to see a new ship, so we went on an excursion.
Boris: Oh, right. Which ship was it?
Alec: The Constant. She came there only the day before yesterday.
Boris: Yes, I know somebody told me about that yesterday. Did you see anything interesting there?
Alec: Certainly, the Constant is a new ship, very large with up-to-date equipment.
Boris: What type of propelling machinery does she have?
Alec: She’s a turbine-propelled ship.
Boris: Did you go to the engine room?
Alec: First, we went to the bridge. There were a new radar and an echo sounder there. After that, we went down to the engine-room.
Boris: What did you like there particularly?
Alec: Well, we liked many things. The new system of automatic control steam supply, for one thing.
Boris: How long did you stay on the ship?
Alec: We stayed there more than two hours and then went home.
Boris: I wish I could go with you.

Vitus Jonassen Bering, also known as Ivan Ivanovich Bering, was born in August 1681, in Horsens, Denmark. He was a Danish map-maker and explorer in Russian service, and an officer in the Russian Navy. Bering is known for exploration of the Bering Strait and Alaska.
Vitus Bering was the captain of the First Kamchatka Expedition and the Great Northern Expedition. In July 1728 Bering set sail from the Siberian peninsula of Kamchatka and in August passed through the Bering Strait into the Arctic Ocean. In spite of the bad weather he concluded that Siberia and America were not joined.
During the reign of Empress Anna, in 1741, Bering's expidition mapped much of the Arctic coast of Siberia. Bering sailed into the Gulf of Alaska and explored the southwestern coast, the Alaska Peninsula, and the Aleutian Islands. He died in December, 1741, on Bering Island, near the Kamchatka Peninsula.
The Bering Strait, the Bering Sea, Bering Island, the Bering Glacier and the Bering Land Bridge were all named in his honor.

Appearance
Cinderella is of average height, well-proportioned and slender with a softly-shaped kind face. She has an hourglass figure. Her skin is fair and flawless, her lips are pink, and her eyes are blue. Cinderella's hair is a beautiful strawberry-blonde (light strawberry-blonde in her childhood) and medium-length with soft bangs
Personality
Despite being raised in toxicity and emotional abuse, Cinderella declared herself independent and strong-willed by remaining kind-hearted and self-loving unlike her cruel step family, not allowing the bitterness surrounding her life to overtake her and morph her into someone as cruel as her stepfamily. She makes the most of her misfortunes by remaining optimistic of the possibilities of a brighter future, keeping herself preoccupied with enforced housework and friendly bonds built with her pets, and dozens of mice that have found themselves trapped over the years by Tremaine's mouse traps, only to be rescued and spared by Cinderella. In gratitude, the mice would become loyal companions to Cinderella, providing her with the company and serving as diligent helpers should something troubling occur.
