There are many wonderful cities in the world that I’d like to see. However, my long time dream is to visit the British capital. In my opinion, London is one of the most diverse and interesting cities on our planet. I have a to-do list for this place, which consists of six important points. First of all I’d like to see Piccadilly Circus. They say it is especially picturesque in the evenings, thanks to the bright neon signs. It has become a tradition to make a date next to the Fountain of Eros which is situated in the center of the square. The second object I want to see is the London Eye. It’s one of the largest and most innovative ferries wheels in the world. If I’m lucky and the weather is fine I can see many of London sights from the top of it. The third place that I want to visit is the wax museum of Madame Tussaud. It’s a legendary place where you can see a great number of celebrity wax figures. The fourth attraction that I’d like to see in London is the Natural History Museum, especially its Dinosaurs gallery. The fifth thing I want to do in London is to spend a day in a youth hostel. They say the atmosphere in such youth places is great. I hope to meet lots of international students there and to make new friends. The sixth point on my list is the boat trip on the River Thames. I’m sure the city views during this trip will be fantastic. In other words, London is my passion. I’d be very happy if my dream came true.

У світі безліч чудових міст, які я хотів би оглянути. Однак моя давня мрія відвідати британську столицю. На мій погляд, Лондон один з найбільш багатоликих і цікавих міст на нашій планеті. Для цього місця я приготував список справ, що складається з шести важливих пунктів. Перш за все, я хотів би побачити Пікаділлі. Кажуть, що там особливо живописно вечорами, завдяки яскравим неоновим вивісок. Призначати побачення поруч з фонтаном Ероса, який знаходиться в самому центрі площі, давно стало традицією. Другий об'єкт, який я хотів би побачити, це Лондонське око. Це одне з найбільших і найбільш інноваційних коліс огляду у світі. Якщо мені пощастить, і погода буде хорошою, я зможу побачити багато лондонські визначні пам'ятки зверху. Третє місце, де я хочу побувати, це музей воскових фігур мадам Тюссо. Це легендарне місце, де можна побачити велику кількість воскових фігур знаменитостей. Четверта пам'ятка, яку я хотів би побачити в Лондоні, це Музей природної історії, особливо його Галерея динозаврів. Під номером п'ять я хотів би провести день в якомусь молодіжному гуртожитку Лондона. Кажуть, що атмосфера в таких молодіжних місцях чудова. Я сподіваюся познайомитися там з безліччю іноземних студентів і завести нових друзів. Шостий пункт в моєму списку - прогулянка на катері по Темзі. Я впевнений, що види на місто під час такої екскурсії будуть фантастичними. Інакше кажучи, Лондон - це моя пристрасть. Я був би дуже радий, якби моя мрія збулася.
Slava Vakarchuk (Ukrainian: Святосла́в Іва́нович Вакарчу́к, born May 14, 1975) is the lead vocalist of Okean Elzy, the most successful post-Soviet rock band in Ukraine. In 2007 he was also, for roughly one year, a member of the Ukrainian parliament.
Vakarchuk was active in supporting the Orange Revolution and Euromaidan-protests, and is involved in many social and cultural projects. He is one of the most successful musicians in Ukraine and has a degree in theoretical physics.
Vakarchuk is the son of Ivan Vakarchuk, a professor of physics at Lviv University and a former Ukrainian Minister of Education and Science.
Vakarchuk was born in Mukachevo, in western Ukraine, raised in a family of scientists.[1] His mother and father were both university professors of physics.[1] His father Ivan Vakarchuk is also former Education Minister.[2]
Vakarchuk founded the band Okean Elzy ("Ocean of Elza"), in 1994 as an undergraduate at Lviv University.[1] At this university he earned a Ph.D. in the field of supersymmetry.[1] After graduation Vakarchuk moved to Kiev.
