1 Millions of books are published every year.
To form the passive voice, we start with the subject (millions of books) and then use the correct form of the auxiliary verb "to be" (are) followed by the past participle of the main verb (published).

2 You can't drive through the city center because the old shopping center is being demolished at the moment.
Again, we start with the subject (the old shopping center) and use the correct form of the auxiliary verb "to be" (is) followed by the present participle of the main verb (being demolished). We also add "at the moment" to indicate the ongoing action.

3 Rice and wheat are grown in the USA.
Using the same pattern as before, we start with the subject (rice and wheat) followed by the correct form of the auxiliary verb "to be" (are) and the past participle of the main verb (grown).

4 None of our products are tested on animals.
Here, we start with the subject (none of our products) and use the correct form of the auxiliary verb "to be" (are) followed by the past participle of the main verb (tested).

5 English is spoken all over the world.
Again, we start with the subject (English) and use the correct form of the auxiliary verb "to be" (is) followed by the past participle of the main verb (spoken).

6 The death of the president was announced on the news a few moments ago.
In this sentence, the subject is "the death of the president." We use the correct form of the auxiliary verb "to be" (was) followed by the past participle of the main verb (announced). We also include the time phrase "a few moments ago."

I think children today are given too much freedom.
For this sentence, the subject is "children today." We use the correct form of the auxiliary verb "to be" (are) followed by the past participle of the main verb (given).

Our house was built in the 1940s.
Here, the subject is "our house." We use the correct form of the auxiliary verb "to be" (was) followed by the past participle of the main verb (built). The time phrase "in the 1940s" indicates when the action took place.
