joanne rowling ((1) j. k. rowling) is a famous british novelist. her fantasy books about harry potter brought her world (2) and popularity. they became the best-selling books in the history of literature. these books have become the basis for a series of films, which were also highly successful. the writer was born on july 31st, 1965, in yate, which is north-east of bristol. her father was an engineer and her mother was a science technician. when joanne was four, her family moved to winterbourne. she attended st michael’s primary school there. many biographers believe that the headmaster of that school became the prototype of the headmaster of the (3) school of magic in “harry potter”.

she started writing fictional stories rather early, at the age of nine. her first listener was her younger sister dianne. joanne became genuinely interested in literature after she got jessica mitford’s (4) this author became her idol and she wanted to be like her. joanne’s childhood wasn’t easy. her mother was often ill and she had to take care of herself and her sister. later, she met her boyfriend and moved to manchester with him. the intention to write a fiction about a magical school came to her (5)

The game consists of 54 wooden blocks. The length of each block is three times greater than its width and a height approximately equal to half its width. To start the game you have to build a tower with a height of 18 floors. Each floor consists of three blocks laid close and parallel to each other. The blocks of each following floor blocks are placed perpendicular to the previous floor. After the tower is built, players start to walk. The first goes to whoever built the tower. A move in jenga consists of taking out one block from any level (except that directly under the unfinished top) of the tower and its subsequent placement at the top of the tower so that it was possible to finish (not to finish the floors beneath the incomplete top level). To retrieve a block is allowed to use only one hand; the second hand may also be used, but to touch the tower at any one time, only one hand. Blocks can be pushed, to find one that is freer just sits. Any move block can be left in place and not continue to cut it out, if it will lead to the fall of the tower. The turn ends when the next player touches the tower, or when 10 seconds pass, whichever occurs first. The game ends when the tower falls. The drop tower is the fall of any block except the one player in the course of trying to place at the top. The loser is the one whose move has been the collapse of the tower. However, if dropped only a few blocks, players can continue the game.
