Why do people read books? It's quite a difficult question, and each of us could answered in different ways to it.

People read books since had been writting the first book. It happened many of years ago. In ancientness, people read books for new information, books it was something "not for all", because not every person could read. Other pupils found "readers" (people which can, and know how to read) very smart and respected them.

Books play a significant role nowadays. Even in modern technological era importance doesn't disappear. It helps us all the time, mostly every day. Without books, that others brought and gave to us in childhood we even would not know what it this - "book". We was learning with its help in school for about ten years, and use it now.

There are a lot of wonderful reasons why reading is important. For example is improve your imagination, understanding and memory, reduce stress, entertain oneself.

Books is a necessary part of our life. It helps relax, teaches us and gives a pleasure. Many of people finds answers for own questions in book. Or it help to deal with some situation. And even maybe will save our lifes.
