Thanks for your letter. I was very glad to get it.
As for my family, we are very friendly indeed. We are five: mum, dad, me and two my younger twin-sisters. They are also annoying sometimes like your brother, but I think it is just the matter of their age. You know my mum is a housewife, so she spends most of her time with them. But weekends we spend all together. I like this time because our father always joins us. We usually drive to the country or to the seaside. We have a lot of fun together.
Well, what about you? How do you spend the weekends? Where do you go with your friends or with your brother? Is your brother much younger than you or not? Have you got anything in common with him? Anyway, I want you to get along with him.
New Zealand is an island country in the southwesternPacific Ocean. The country geographically comprises two main landmasses – that of the North Island, or Te Ika-a-Māui, and the South Island, or Te Waipounamu – and numerous smaller islands. New Zealand is situated some 1,500 kilometres (900 mi) east of Australiaacross the Tasman Sea and roughly 1,000 kilometres (600 mi) south of the Pacific island areas of New Caledonia, Fiji, and Tonga. Because of its remoteness, it was one of the last lands to be settled by humans. During its long isolation, New Zealand developed a distinctive biodiversity of animal, fungal and plant life. The country's varied topography and its sharp mountain peaks, such as theSouthern Alps, owe much to the tectonic uplift of land and volcanic eruptions. New Zealand's capital city is Wellington, while its most populous city is Auckland.

Now I must go. Write soon.
Best wishes,
