ENGLAND

Of the four parts that make up Great Britain England is the largest, the most industrial and the most densely populated part of the United Kingdom. Over 46 million people of the population of the country live in England.
The greatest concentration of population is in London, Birmingham and northwest industrial cities. The coast of England is washed by the North Sea, the Irish Sea, the English Channel and the Strait of Dover. No part of England is more than 120 kilometres from the sea.
It is interesting to note that the sea has been important in the history of England. It was a good protection against the attacks of outside people. Fishing has always been an important industry, especially in the east. The sea also has a great effect on England's climate.
There are many rivers in England. The longest and the most important is the Thames. The rivers are of great importance for communication and especially for carrying goods.
England is mostly a lowland country. There are upland regions in the north and the southwest, but the rest of England is almost flat.
Northern England, Midlands and Southern England – each part of England is different. The Lake District in Northern England with its lakes, mountains and valleys is the favourite holiday area. On either side of the Pennines the plains of Yorkshire and Lancashire stretch to the sea.
The wool industry is centred in Leeds and Bradford, the cotton industry in Manchaster. The industries of the Midlands produce metal goods: from motor cars and railways to pins and buttons.
The capital city of England and the United Kingdom is London. Its population is about 6–7 million and it is the largest city in Britain and one of the largest in the world. Historical and geographical circumstances have made London one of the world most important commercial and industrial centers, while its range of historical connections and its buildings attract millions of tourists from overseas each year.
The mayor economic regions of England are the following: the South of England, the Midlands, Lancashire, Yorkshire and the North of England.
The South of England is the largest and more highly developed region with London as the major communication centre, one of the world's most important financial centres, and one of the largest ports. Oxford is a car – manufacturing centre. Portsmouth is a naval port with shipbuilding and ship – repairing. East Anglia and Kent are agricultural centres.
The Midlands represent the largest concentration of manufacturing industry.
Lancashire is the centre of the cotton and textile industries, chemicals and textile machinery. Shipbuilding and ship – repairing are also essential for the region.
Yorkshire is the centre of woolen industry.
The North of England consists of two different areas: The North West – a popular tourist centre and the industrial North – East.

Spring is the most beautiful time of the year, everything starts to bloom, flowers appear and it is possible to walk with friends at least nights. In my spring break I will help my mother to clean the apartment, if I do not need help, I'll go for a walk.

But the weather has definitely failed me. Winter did not want to leave, even at the end of March it was very frosty.

But still, vacations are a vacation and my mood was festive every day.

I managed to go several times to the cinema, a couple of times I was visiting friends that I rarely meet in my daily life - they live far away and after school they do not go to visit them comfortably, and on weekends they always find something for me, caring parents .

I spent the spring break just fine. There have been many interesting events. For example, I went to the movies with my sister, I really liked it, and we will definitely go there again. And, my friend had a birthday, and we celebrated it in a cafe. Then we twice went to competitions in the Palace of Sports that would cheer for our team
