It goes without saying that living in a big city or in the country has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Speaking about good points of big cities I can admit that it is the presence of convenient public transport, low rate of unemployment. Moreover, in big cities there are a lot of shops, cinemas and theatres. So people can entertain themselves at any time in any way they want to feel themselves happy or relaxed. That’s why a lot of people, especially teenagers when leaving the city they live in, they miss its hustle and bustle.
But on the other hand some people claim that they feel themselves worried or even stressed living in a big city. One of the reasons they name it is constant noise and pollution. Besides, there is heavy traffic and crowded streets. They say it’s better to live in the country because there is fresh air, beautiful landscapes, as well as, friendly, helpful people.
Nevertheless, such peace and quiet makes some people feel themselves isolated and lonely. Moreover, they name one more reason for not living in the country. It is a high rate of unemployment. People have no work to do and even the place to go to relax and hang out.
To sum it up, I can say that there are advantages and disadvantages of living in a big city and in the country. But it’s up to a person to decide where to live to feel him or herself free and happy.
