Playing sports games ,practicing martial arts such as judo or karate ,wind-surfing or biking allow you to stay active and healthy and help you lose weight. Popular collecting hobbies include coin-collecting and stamp collecting , though you can collect virtually anything you can think of. If you are good with your hands , you may enjoy knitting ,sewing ,carving or clay modeling .If you are a creative person , you may like painting ,sculpting ,writing poetry and short stories ,photography or moviemaking . If you are logical and patient , you may enjoy playing chess ,solving crossword puzzles or gardening. Reading books , magazines or newspapers and browsing the Internet are common hobbies today.

Hobbies play a very important educational role ,improve our physical and mental heath ,provide us with motivation to increase our knowledge and to improve our skills , enrich our lives and help us gain a better understanding of how the world works.
