Advantages and disadvantages of e-learning
We have made our TV’s flat, our trains fast, and to-many-to-list items have been cramped into a small bar made of glass and plastic. I’m talking about technological advancement. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that even studying has taken on a digital form. But is it actually helpful?
Let’s look at the advantages of e-learning first. Students now don’t need to waste their time getting from home to school and back. They don’t need to be in those almost suffocating conditions, that they would have endured in the metro, or in the bus. Because of that they don’t get stressed and can study more efficiently.
But what about the down sides? Well, it’s clear that with e-learning cheating has become so easy, that now pretty much anyone can cheat. This has a negative impact on the students’ actual knowledge of the subject.
As you can see, e learning isn’t something only good, or only bad. It is a mix of two. I think for some people it is going to be helpful, while for others, it’s going to be destructive.
