I was very glad to receive your letter and thank you for it. In my letter I want to talk about my summer holidays.

This summer I spent much time with family and friends.

 

Summer was very hot, so I went to the river to bathe and sunbathe. Every night I went out with friends, we had fun.

July started with the events of the standard Open-2013 which I visited with friends. At this festival we have listened to good music, saw a game of beach tennis and took photos with our idols.

Later I’ve spent much time in the country, collecting summer berries.

 

During those 3 months I read many interesting books, found new friends, and just had a good time.

On the 1st of September I came to school and I met my classmates whom I missed a lot. I started the new school year with a good attitude and a desire to gain new knowledge.

St. Petersburg is a city of rare beauty. Impossible to list all definitions, whom his describe: the pearl of the Russian state, one of the most or cities on the planet, majestic, and camping on D. Almost every his street has attitude to historical events.  Start a walk along Nevsky prospect from the Admiralty. You can see here many attractions: Griboyedov canal, Kazan Cathedral, Gostiny Dvor, Anichkov bridge. In the Kazan Cathedral You can see the burial place of the greatest military leader Mikhail Kutuzov. During this walk you should definitely visit The Russian Museum, which contains treasures of Russian art. This Museum contains about four hundred thousand masterpieces of national painting, which cover all genres, schools and species for many centuries, from the tenth to the twentieth century. The most important expositions of the Russian Museum are in the Mikhailovsky Palace, built for Emperor Paul the First, who lived in it only forty days. In 1823 the castle was located a Military engineering school, among the pupils of which was the outstanding Russian writer F. M. Dostoevsky. In this historic Palace, the interior of the Church, illuminated in 1800, with its extraordinary paintings, such as the work of Ivanov "Prayer for the Cup", has survived to the present day . On the square of Arts is a monument to the great poet Alexander Pushkin.  Walking along Nevsky prospect, you can walk to the corner with a Sink, where there is another attraction – Stroganov Palace. This Palace is a wonderful creation of an architectural genius, built in the style of Russian Baroque. Designed Stroganov Palace F. B. Rastrelli. Walking through the Kazan Cathedral, You can turn right and continue the walk along the canal. In this place there is a well-known Bank bridge, which is decorated with statues in the form of griffins. Bank bridge is one of the most famous places in St. Petersburg. Walking down the street, You can go to a Large Seating Courtyard.  You can rest on Ostrovsky square, where the monument to Empress Catherine the Great is located. In this place there is a significant architectural structure – Alexandrinsky theatre. Behind the theater is a unique street, similar to what is not in the world – Architect Rossi street. This street is characterized by absolute symmetry. The length of the street is 220 meters, width and length are equal to 22 meters, all the buildings are absolutely the same. Walking down the street the street Architect Rossi, You will be taken to the embankment of the Fontanka river. In this place is the Lomonosov bridge. It is necessary to pass to the Anichkov bridge, which is very close. This bridge is a wonderful equestrian groups of Peter Klodt.  An unforgettable experience will leave a walk through St. Isaac's and Senate squares, which offer a wonderful view of the panorama of St. Petersburg.
