Существует много необычных историй о письмах, и это одна из них, которая, несомненно, будет интересна всем. Письмо, о котором мы говорим, было написано Вольтером, великим французским философом и писателем. Вольтер написал памфлет, который он послал своему издателю, чтобы его опубликовали немного времени, но Вольтер не получал никаких известий о судьбе памфлета. Вольтер, который очень хорошо знал своего издателя, наконец, послал ему письмо, в котором содержался только знак:  " ? " . Все экземпляры брошюры уже были проданы. Было довольно ясно, что знак "?" означает в письме Вольтера. Поэтому издатель послал ответ, который оказался таким же коротким, как письмо Вольтера и не менее четкими. ответ также содержал только один знак - " ! " .
