Red Square - the main square in Moscow, located in the center of the radial-circular layout of the city between the Moscow Kremlin (to the west) and China-town (east). Also unofficially the main area of the country. From the square to the shore of the Moscow River leads downhill Vasilevsky descent. The area is located along the north-eastern wall of the Kremlin, the Kremlin between travel, passing through the Resurrection Gate, Nikolskaya Street, Ilinka, Barbarian and Vasilevsky descent to the Kremlin embankment. The spillover from the street area of further branch out and flow into the city's main thoroughfare leading to different ends of Russia.
