Breakfast is an important meal for Kazakhs.
Traditional breakfast food in Kazakhstan
includes lots of dairy-based products such as
milk and ayran. During the week, especially in
the cities, people prefer to eat fried eggs,
porridge, bread, jam, milk and berries for
breakfast. Tea is the most popular morning
drink in Kazakhstan -
it's the perfect
way to start
the day!
My school is very old. It has an interesting history. It was built in 1875. At first it was a gymnasium for rich grls. After the revolution it became a technical school for working people. There is a school museum here where we can see a lot of old pictures. photos of ex pupils and teachers. well-known people who visited our school. Sometimes our old teachers say that there is a ghost walking in school corridors at night. Now our school is a gymnasium and the best school in our town. I am very proud to be a pupil of it. Tere are a lot of good teachers who give us excellent knowledge. It is a great pleasure to study here.
My lessons begin at half past eight.
We wear a uniform at school.
There are many comfortable classrooms in our school.
There is a gym, a library and a canteen in my school, too.
We have different subjects on the timetable: Maths, English, Nature Study, Art, Music, PE (Physical Education) and others.
My favourite subject is Music because I like singing very much.
We have five or six lessons a day.
I am never late for classes.
At the lessons we read, write, count, do exercises, listen to our teacher and answer her questions.
We always try to work hard at the lesson.
