Baurzhan Momyshuly was a Kazakh- Soviet military officer and author, pasthumously awarded with the titles Hero of the Soviet Union and People's Hero of Kazakh. He was born on the 24th of December in 1910. A family of nomadic herders from the Dulat tribe. He lived with his relatives until the age of thirteen. But spent his teenage years in Soviet boarding school. In September 1941, the division was sent to the front in Malaya Vishera, at the vicinity of Leningrad. After the World War, many of his works began to be published. And he died on the 10th of June in 1982 (aged 71).
