1 Если подлежащее стоит в ед ч. или является неисчисляемым (bread - неисч сущ в англ языке) , употребляем There is (Is there... ?, There isn't ), если в мн. ч., употребляем There are (Are there, There aren't)

There are + мн. ч

(В вопросах is /are ставится перед there)

Местоимения some/ any используются для обозначения неопределённого количества предметов или вещества. Они употребляются  перед исчисляемыми существительными во множ числе и перед неисчисляемыми существительными.

Some используется - в утвердительных предложениях
Any используется - в отрицательных и вопросительных предложениях.
