Dear Annie,
Thank you for writing to me about your problem. I was sorry to hear that you are unhappy at your new school because you don't know anyone there. I have some advice on how to make new friends.
The first thing you should do is try to become part of the new school. For example, how about joining the drama club? This way, you show people you really want to be a part of things.
Another suggestion is to invite a few of your classmates to study with you. It's better than studying alone and, by doing this, you will get to know people better.
I hope you find my advice useful. Don't forget, it's up to you to make things happen. Let me know how things go. I think that you will soon have lots of new friends.
Best wishes,
Paula
