Many human evils are connected with the money-grubbing. The lust for money is one of the most serious sins of the mankind. So there is a famous saying from the Bible. St.Paul wrote to Timothy: «For love of money is the root of all evil». But it is a disputable question. To begin with, when a person makes a lot of money in a successful business, soon he may draw up different patterns of his attitude to money. Firstly, he may spend this money to satisfy his ever-growing needs. Secondly, he may give it to charity. Finally, he can just save his money in a bank and enlarge it. So many people agree that the desire of money is very dangerous for people. Firstly, it leads to the love of money for its own sake, to meanness to others, to selfishness, to greed and to personal lifestyle, which is unduly frugal. When money is run out, it seems as if the doomsday has come. Secondly, one of the major reasons why people believe that money is the root of all evil is the vast economic gap between the rich and the poor. Each year millions of people die of hunger, while other people are billionaires and live in luxury.
