Lynx is one of the most graceful and dangerous felines. This graceful animal has a luxurious fur, tufts on the ears, a short tail, resembling a stump, and deadly claws. The average individual reaches up to one meter in length and weight of the animal ranges from 8 to 15 pounds. Paws the lynx is wide and bushy. This allows them to move quickly and silently through the snow.
The habitat of these animals is concentrated in the Northern climes. Previously lynx inhabited the whole of Europe, but has undergone almost complete destruction.
The diet of the lynx are quite diverse: they hunt rabbits, grouse, foxes, moose, deer, beavers and partridges. Track down the victim without being noticed, lynx helps special flower colour which perfectly camouflages it among the trees. Especially good disguise fails during dark time of day. As a shelter lynx selects massive boulders and tumbled down trunks, and sometimes climbs the tree and watches the victim down. On losing vigilance of the prey, the predator suddenly jumps huge jumps. The lynx does not eat all the meat at once, and hiding part of the "in reserve".
