                                  My hobby is drawing

My mum says I started to draw before I learnt to walk. I used to draw on any scrap of paper that I could find. I took my elder brother’s pencils or crayons and drew pictures of my favourite toys, animals, my family. My mum and dad liked my pictures very much and told everybody that one day I would be an artist.

When I was about four years old I was given a box of water colours. I think I was expected to produce a masterpiece. But to everybody’s surprise I didn’t like painting. I felt so much more comfortable with pens and pencils.

I still draw a lot. If a lesson is boring, I open my sketchbook and start drawing. I even got into trouble a few times when my teachers caught me drawing instead of listening to them. But I’m not going to give up drawing as long as it helps me to relax and have fun.

Many people ask questions about conflicts. They want to know why there are conflicts in the family. They want to know why political parties and States have conflicts. They ask what can be done in a conflict situation.

Conflicts are a natural thing in our lives. Conflicts arise because people are different: they need different things, they have different views and different values. But you must understand that other people also have the right to differ from you. You must respect the right of other people to have ideas that differ from your ideas. People who respect each other's point of view can resolve conflicts peacefully. If people resolve conflicts peacefully, they will have a better relationship in the future. This is why many people want to know how to resolve conflicts.
