Organic food is very popular these days. It can also be very. Some organic food costs twice as much as non-organic food. Parents of young children, and even some pet owners, will pay high prices for organic food if they think it's healthier. But many others think organic food is just a. There is one main difference between organic and non-organic food. Organic farms do not use chemicals such as pesticides that stop insects from damaging crops. In many countries foods that claim to be organic must have special labels that guarantee they're grown organically.
Some people think organic also means "locally grown", and originally this was true. But over time organic farming has become big business, with many organic foods now being grown by large agricultural companies that sell their products far from where they're grown. Processed food made with organic has also become more popular. At first, only small companies these products. But as overtook , big food companies that had been selling non-organic products for many years also began selling organic products. Small organic food companies found it difficult to compete with these big companies, and many didn't stay in business much longer.

I am writing from Spain to tell you about my holiday. We stay in a five-star hotel in the centre of Madrid, Madrid is looking fantastic at this time of the year and I enjoy  every minute of our trip! At the moment my mother is doing  the shopping for souvenirs and my father is having  coffee on the balcony. You know he hates shopping. The weather is rather cool these days and perfect for doing sightseeing. We spend most of the days walking around the city and taking photos. We are thinking about going to Barcelona tomorrow. I hope to see the famous Catedral de Barcelona and my parents want  to visit Gran Teatre del Liceu. Food here is very tasty. The Spanish eat lots of vegetables and fruit and they cook delicious omelets and paella. I am afraid I've put on weight because I eat so much here! We leave Spain next Friday. I love  here so much that I don’t want to return home!

See you soon,

Mary
