ОТ Read the texts. Choose one sentence from each text including notional and functional parts of speech, find nouns, verbs, pronouns, adjectives, numerals, adverbs, write down these sentence and analyze them to the semantic features, the morphological structure, form, syntactical function.

 

1. Bob and Rose

Bob and Rose are English children. Bob is fifteen. Rose is fourteen. They are brother and sister. They go to school. Bob goes to a boys' school and Rose goes to a girls' school. The children's schools are not far from home. At school Bob learns English and German. Rose learns English and French. Bob and Rose have a lot of books at home. They have English, German and French books. Rose is a very good pupil. She always works hard. She reads a lot of books. She always does all her exercises. She always helps her mother at home. Bob does not work hard. He does not work at all. He does not like books and he does not like school. He does not like to help his mother at home. He is a lazy boy. He only likes to sing and dance. He knows some English songs, and he likes to sing them.

2. The farm

Daniel wanted to visit a farm. He asked his parents to take him to a farm. His teacher told him about the animals on a farm. There are lots of animals on a farm. Daniel wanted to see the animals. He wanted to see the cows. He wanted to see the chickens. He wanted to see the pigs. He wanted to pet the animals. He wanted to feed the animals. He loved animals. He wanted to live on a farm. He wanted to live with cows and chickens and pigs. They would be his friends. He didn't have any friends in school.

 

 Task 2. Find dependent and independent word combination(5-6) in the text, write down them showing which part of speech they are expressed
