I think the beginning of intensive study of this language connected with the development of program Windows 3.0, which was first introduced by American company Microsoft in 1990. This program is used in English and it was the first program, which had great success in the world.

In all times in Russia was considerably to know different languages, and the English language is the easiest language for understanding.

However, these are some distinctions between British English and American English, which evidently differ in the tone and grammar.

I think that the American version of English is easy and more popular. Today I can`t imagine either a lawyer or a programmer, who don`t know English, but those professions are of different nature. In modern society we need to know English spelling, grammar and understand native speakers. Those skills will contribute both formation of stable political relations and technical growth of the country.

I believe that the widespread study of English puts our country on a new development stage and lower the barriers of communication between people, who are living on different continents.
