For hundreds of years people have told legends about heroes. Heroes are strong, brave young people who help others. Today we can read stories and watch films about superheroes. What is the superhero?
Paragraph 2.
Superheroes have special strength, which they use to do good moves like helping people and fighting crime. They usually wear special costume, like cape. Sometimes they wear a mask over the face so no one knows who they are. Some superheroes use gadgets, like Spiderman’s web shooter.
Paragraph 3.
Modern superheroes started as stories in comic magazines. Superman was one of the first famous superheroes. The first Superman comic was published in 1938. Superman is a foreigner from the planet Krypton. He can fly and he is super powerful. He is super fast and no weapons can injure him. The only thing that can hurt him is Kryptonite stone from his planet.
Paragraph 4.
In 1941, Wonder Woman was created. She was the first female superhero. Wonder woman’s story comes from ancient Greek myth. She has some superhuman powers like Superman. She is good ad fighting and she has many weapons too like a lasso and magic bracelets. Sometimes superheroes have friends that help them, like Jimmy Olsen in the Superman stories. These friends are called “sidekicks”. One of the most famous sidekicks is Robin from “Batman and Robin”. Sometimes superheroes group together like Ironman, Captain America and Thor in the Avengers, or mutants in the X-men team.
