Most people in the UK rush to work in the morning. This means (meant) they don't (done) have (had) time to make (made) the traditional English breakfast of eggs,bacon and sausages. They may have (had) one at weekends though. During the week, they choose (chosen) a breakfest of cereal or with tea, coffee or fruit juice. Lunch is (been) a simple meal. Many children at school and adults at work bring (brought) a packed lunch from home. This is (been) sandwich, a packet of crisps, a piece of fruit and a drink. Dinner is (been) a meal for the whole family. Spaghetti bolognaise and shepherds pie are (been) favourites. Many British order takeaways as well, Indian, Chinese food and pizzas are (been) all very popular. On Sundays, the British get (got) together for a traditional Sunday roast.
