Второй завтрак, ланч или обед многие англичане проводят в ресторанах, поскольку идти на обеденный перерыв домой не принято. Он может включать в себя мясо или рыбу, салаты, картофель, фруктовый пудинг на десерт.

В качестве первых блюд, которые вообще-то в Англии не очень распространены, рассматриваются супы-пюре и бульоны, однако, чаще их все же переносят на вечерний прием пищи.

Также популярными во время ланча считаются закрытые бутерброды или сандвичи с паштетом, бужениной, ветчиной, рыбой и другими ингредиентами.

As first courses, which are generally not very common in England, mashed soups and broths are considered, however, more often they are transferred to evening meals.

Also popular during lunch are closed sandwiches or sandwiches with pate, cold boiled pork, ham, fish and other ingredients.

Drinks at lunch can be traditional tea or juices. Even on a weekday during lunchtime, some Englishmen drink draft beer - porter or black ale.

Ihave recently seen sherlok holmes . it is a detective series . starring benedict cumberbatch and martin freeman. it's quite unusual interpretation of well know character of sir arthur conan doyle. the action takes place in london of present days. in this series we still meet old friends like jim moriarty, mrs hudson. but as well as old characters we also meet new and unknown characters like molly. as for me, i can't say that i admire this film as a lot of people do. i believe that you can watch it once but not more than that. it's just another interpretation of well known detective story. but nothing can be better than classical version . i would recommend you to watch it if you have nothing else to watch.
