I was very glad, when I received your letter last week. I hope, that you feel well and spent your summer holiday as great as I did.
Two weeks ago I returned from Germany! I visited its capital, Berlin, and it was really unforgettable. The city center is very beautiful. I saw Branderburg Gate and Alexander Platz. I also visited a lot of other sightseeings and museums, but these places especially imressed me by their greatness. I have flown there with my brother. As you know, he knows German, so it was rather easy to orientate ourselves. We have taken plenty of photos. Almost every our step was photographed. Our trip lasted 4 days and we stayed in a hotel not far from the city center. The hotel was very nice and cosy. The second day was rainy, so we had to stay in our room. That day I began to read "Faust" written by a world-known German writer Goethe. This book is really fascinating. We also saw a comedy "Pretty boy". We laughed a lot at this funny story. Evenings when I had nothing to do I played my the most favourite computer game "Red Alert".
I think, that's all about my journey. If there's something else left, you want to know about, please, write it in your next letter.
Looking forward for your answer,
Alice
