a. america is known for its giant chains of fast foods. this huge land of opportunities is known for its love of fatty, fried and grilled edibles. though it does not have a culture of its own, this is a land which has embraced every culture and given it its own twist and probably made it better. whatever cuisine you are in the mood for, you are sure to find it here and no craving of yours will ever go in vain.
b. lebanese food is often symbolised by falafel. it is also the most vegetarian dish on the planet and hence caters to all. but it isn't just that, recently ‘shwart' and 'tagine’ have also become known all over the world due to novelty of the way it's prepared and the taste which is quite mild and simply lovely. the lebanese or egyptian dish has very ancient roots which prove the popularity of the recipe. all these factors have rightly added to its worldwide fame.
c. the french know the meaning of comfort food. they were the ones who invented it after all! whether it is fondue, bread, cheese or even chocolate; no one does it better than the french. and this is not all; they even are the best with snails. seriously it is not a joke. more­ over, the cook makes every dish like it is his masterpiece. the whole
cuisine reeks of art! you can try macaroons, cakes and pastries and yummy pies; it’s all here.
d. thai curry with rice has become a staple for those who want the proper vacation to feel and refresh themselves. coconut milk is the base of the cuisine which draws heavily from its asian counterparts. thai also has the best sea food known to men. with the amazing spices, the aquatics are turned into delicious things that are hard to resist. the meal gener­ally comes to an end with a cup of fresh coconut ice-cream.
e. italian food is synonymous with lots of olive oil with parmesan and tomatoes and garlic. it’s the simplest of all and that’s what makes it so perfect. i’m talking about the thin, soft pizza that is never cut into pieces but is torn by hands. and who can forget the melted mozza­ and what do i even say about ‘pasta’? it’s so common now that everyone seems to have developed their own recipe of it.
f. if there is one thing that indians are known for worldwide, it’s their love for curry. indian civilization is based on food. from the start of the day up to the end, all they seem to talk, think and joke about the food. as soon as breakfast is done, everyone is thinking about lunch and dinner after that. now indian food is also being consumed in far­ away foreign lands with spice, of course, but it is certainly being loved none the less.
g. chinese cuisine is hot, oily and salty. it is also cheap and affordable. chinese food has a lot of varieties and hence it can suit each and every palette. the ancient culture of china which has been marketed so well also has increased its reach. no wonder china is being touted as the nest super-power, its food is already ruling the roost. you can have it as a snack or as a complete meal in itself and you still won’t put on any weight.
