ответ:Has university life changed beyond recognition for a new generation of undergraduates or is it the same as it ever was? Five parents compare their own experiences with their children’s

Long gone but not forgotten are those carefree student days of shared showers, derelict rental properties and parties where the booze always ran out before midnight. Being a student was quite a privilege in the good old days when local authorities and the government footed the bill and there was almost certainly a job at the end of it.

In the early 1960s, only 4% of school leavers went to university, rising to around 14% by the end of the 1970s. Nowadays, more than 40% of young people start undergraduate degrees – but it comes at a cost. Today’s students leave with debts of £40,000 and upwards to pay back over their working lives.

We live in a period of active development of information technologies, when a lot of new films and series appear on the screens. Cinema is now presented to any audience – whether students or older people. Even for our grandparents there are films that can touch their heart.
Among the abundance of film genres, most of all I prefer comedies, feature or adventure films. My most favorite movie I can watch over and over is called Hachiko: the most loyal friend. This picture is based on real events that took place in Japan in the thirties. This is the story of a dog named Hachiko has so touched the hearts of the people that he was even erected a monument. I think that now there is no man who once would not have watched this wonderful movie. But if I look at, it's worth it.
The story of the film is incredibly exciting and equally tragic. The main character, a University Professor, when he returned home from work, found at the train station the puppy that got lost. Parker Wilon was the name of the Professor, tried to find his owners, but after unsuccessful attempts, he decided to leave the kid to himself and named him Hachiko. Between the owner and the puppy had some kind of navaratna affection, they became inseparable friends and always spent a lot of time together.
Every morning Hachiko accompanied his master to work to the station, and in the evening was waiting for his return, sitting on a parapet in front of the station. This continued from day to day. It already knew all sellers and those who worked at the station. But one day everything changed. Parker went to work, as usual, but he had a heart attack there, and he died... Relatives and friends are very grieved about the loss, but the dog is still true continues to wait for his beloved master from the train. The wife of the deceased is going to move to another city and wants to take Hachiko with him, but he escapes and rushes to the station, where spends all his time waiting. It starts to feed the workers of the station who are not indifferent to the fate of the animal. It has been 10 years... One day the wife of Parker came to visit the grave of her husband at the station and saw Hachiko, who sat as usual on the parapet at the entrance to the station. After some time, the dog dies at the same place where he faithfully waited for his master for years in a row. It's a very emotional film, which cleverly and realistically played by Richard Gere. Such films make us think about how important it is to understand the true values that are nearby.
