THE BEACH
Every year a lot of people go to the seaside by plane or by train because everybody likes to swim in the sea. Two years ago Tom and his family lived far from the sea but every Saturday they got up very early, got into their car and Tom’s father drove for hours to take them to the beach. Tom, his sister and his brother and their dog were very tired when they got to the beach.
One day Tom’s mother said, “It’s fun on the beach, but it takes too much time to go there and back!”. The children were sad. They tried to go to the swimming pool but it was not the same thing. Last month Tom’s parents came to talk to the children. They said, ”We love the beach and you love the beach. We need to live near the beach and yesterday we bought a house near the beach."
Tom and his brother and his sister are very happy. The house is very big and comfortable. It has got two floors. Tom’s bedroom is upstairs between his parents’ bedroom and his sister’s bedroom. Now Tom and his family go to the beach every day. They like to swim in the sea and to play games on the beach.
