The pilot and the passenger got into the plane. It was a small plane. It had one engine. It was an old plane. The pilot started the engine. "Are you okay?" he asked the passenger. She said she was okay. They were flying to an island. The island was only 30 minutes away. It would be a short flight. She was a nurse. Her husband was a doctor. The doctor was on the island. The doctor needed some medicine. She had the medicine in her bag. The medicine would save a young boy. The young boy was very sick. The plane took off. The engine sounded funny. The pilot frowned. "Is everything okay?" the passenger asked. "I'm afraid not," said the pilot. "There's something wrong with the engine. We have to land." He landed the plane. The nurse got out of the plane. She looked around the airport. She saw another plane. This plane had two engines. She walked over to the plane. "Is this a new plane or an old plane?" she asked the pilot. The pilot said it was a new plane. "Good," she said. "Please take me to the island."

Choosing a career to follow is probably one of the most important decisions one ever makes. everyone is an architect of his own fortune. before you make a decision about your road in life you have to do a lot of thinking about who you are, about the things you like to do and the things you can do well. when choosing a future career you must be realistic about your interests and abilities. nowadays most people think that profession is good when it brings in money. to my mind have enough money for your work is quite normal but if you can’t find satisfaction, pleasure, delight, enjoyment, which is no less important, than a good pay and a high ranking position, money is nothing, it won’t make you happy. выбор профессии, вероятно, одно из самых важных решений в нашей жизни. каждый сам кузнец своего счастья. перед тем, как выбрать свою дорогу в жизни, вам нужно хорошо подумать о том, кто вы, чем бы вы хотели заниматься и что вы можете делать хорошо. при выборе будущей карьеры вы должны быть реалистичными в своих интересах и способностях. сейчас большинство людей думают, что профессия хороша, когда она приносит деньги. на мой взгляд, зарабатывать достаточно денег на работе вполне нормально, но если вы не можете найти удовлетворение, радость, восторг, наслаждение, которое не менее важно, чем хорошая заработная плата и высокий руководящий пост, деньги - ничто, они не сделают вас счастливыми
