1.As cool as a cucumber (досл. прохладный как огурец) Сложно объяснить почему англичане, используя это выражение, подразумевают «спокойный как удав». Но все же “as cool as cucumber” означает что кто-то невероятно спокойный, невозмутимый. E.g. Peter is as cool as a cucumber he is hardly ever getting agnry. Петя спокойный как удав, он практически никогда не злится. 2.As red as a cherry (досл. красный как вишня) т.е. что-то очень красное; «красный как рак». E.g. I was so embarrassed so got red as cherry.
