I think it is impossible to live in our modern word without travelling because there are many interesting places to visit and see. Railway and bus stations, airports and seaport are busier in summer than in other seasons of a year because of school holidays. Travelling is the best way of spending holidays because you can visit different interesting places in your country and abroad. I prefer to travel by train because I like to look out of the window and watch the nature and a lot of small towns and villages. Of course, I usually travel with my parents because I am a teenager and my parents don’t allow me to travel by myself. I have already been in Moscow, Berlin, Volgograd, Saratov. I have never been to London. It’s my dream. Seaside is better to travel in summer because you can swim and dive, sunbathe and relax. My parents and I always take a camera with us when we are going to travel because we like to take photos very much. To my mind it is better to travel for pleasure because you may relax and don’t think about business.
Hello Jim I haven't seen you for ages! What do you do? B. I work abroad actually. I have a month contract with the British Council to teach English in China. I got back two days ago. A China! How marvelous. Where did you live ?B. Well, I spent four months inBeijing, and then I went toShanghaiand Xian. And did you manage to see the Great Wall? Oh yes, and I climbed too! I also sew the Forbidden City, or thePalaceMuseumas it calls nowadays. That's fantastic. And lots more. And did you take many photographs? Hundreds! Unfortunately some of them do not come out too well because the camera I was useing didn't have a flash. I really wish I took better equipment. Well, I hope you will show them to me one day soon. If I know you go toChina, I will ask you to bring me some silk. I have invited to go at very short notice, in fact. I'm afraid I won't have time to let anyone know. Don't worry, I am only jokeing. Look, what will you do on Saturday evening? This Saturday? My parents are going to come in the afternoon but they ents are go to leave by 6 o'clock.Well, why don't you come to supper in the evening? Then you will be able to show me your photographs and tell me all about your trip. Thank you, I'd like to. I will even bring a bottle of Chinese wine with me to go with the meal!
