There are many wonderful holidays, but New year is a special holiday. I always look forward to it with great anticipation. It seems that new year's eve should be something unusual, magical, joyful. Holiday atmosphere is everywhere: all made each other gifts, buy sweets, fruits and, of course, decorate the Christmas tree. All as in a fairy tale.We have a big family: dad, mom, me, sister Diana and brother Sasha. We begin to prepare for the holiday. We put things in order in the house, decorate the Christmas tree, hung in the rooms of the garlands, balloons, hand made toys and other decorations. Diana hung in their rooms sprigs of spruce and also decorated them with toys and garlands that are made with your own hands.A festive table is a special attribute of the New year. My sister helping my mom cook Christmas meal, bake a cake, lay the table. Mother always tries to cook for the festive table something unusual, special. We eat all our family, congratulate each other on the holiday. We come to visit relatives, friends. I'm looking forward to midnight. It happens traditionally.My little sister still believes that Santa Claus comes to visit and brings gifts. This year I decided to dress up as Santa Claus. Of wool made beard and moustache, wearing my mother's red robe and hat. Put in a bag of toys and went to her room. Diana for some time froze, stared at me in disbelief, not immediately recognized me. When I began to speak words of congratulations, she laughed and rushed to me. Everyone had a lot of fun. After that we went to bed, knowing that in the morning under the tree we were expecting.We were not mistaken. Mom and dad prepared all of us interesting gifts. Waking up in the morning, we found them under the tree and were very pleased.To me this new year's celebration especially memorable because I was fortunate to attend the regional New year celebrations organized by the Governor of the Voronezh region. This is the most vivid and memorable experiences I've ever had. The lights, the fireworks, the beautiful Christmas tree and festive show. Nothing like I have not seen.
