Russian writer, translator. Popular as the author of "women's prose".
Born into a famous family of translators Nicholas Wilmont and Natalia man. Father future writer was known not only as translator but also as a literary critic-Germanist. After the publication of the novel Catherine was asked to write children's detectives, and had to release a new book every month. At this rate, the writer has written about 40 books, which brought her first fame. Later she was able to print and their "adult" things that became popular that allowed to refuse from "detective schlock". Currently Ekaterina lives mostly in Moscow. I spent my last school year in Russia, because my parents get a new job in Moscow. It was a new experience for me. Our countries are so different! My classmates were really friendly, they sometimes helped me with translation, because my level of Russian was low first.
Our schools look different, here all the classes take place in the same class and it was unusual for me. I had more homework , but sometimes it was even intriguing.
Especially I liked the physical education lessons. It was active time: we played different games, we even had mini competitions. It was pretty cool! But we had only two lessons per week, it made me sad.
I have good impressions from last year, but there’s no place like home. And with a great pleasure I came back home, to England)
