Hi, my name is Rosa. I’m in the Canadian city of Montrial with my mum and dad. It’s a fantastic city. My aunt lives here and we’re with her for a month. Montreal is a very interesting place. It’s the biggest bilingual city in the world -a lot of people speak English and French. People speak to mein French in the shops, but when I don’t understand they speak in perfect English! Mum speak Ferench fluently. She uses her French every day, but she doesn’t understand some Canadian French words. Montrial is very friendly and there are people from many different countries. We go to Italian cafes ” Little Italy” part of the city or to Chinese restaurants in the ” Chinatown” area. My favourite place is the Mount Royal Park - it’s got an amazing view of the city.

travelling is the most exciting thing in the world. first of all, it lets us discover the world and to see different countries, experience their cultures and traditions. moreover, we enrich our knowledge about life in general and particularly about ourselves. travelling also gives us an
opportunity to meet new interesting people, learn new languages and develop our skills. that’s why i’m trying to travel as much as possible.

the best trip i’ve ever had in my life was to france. although it happened two years ago, but i still recall this wonderful time with a great pleasure. i
went there with two of my friends and it was really the right decision, because we travelled by coach and the journey took a long time. we were playing cards on the way, singing songs and joking all the time. as we arrived we checked in a hotel not far from the center. we were exhausted but in a
good mood.

the first day in paris was fantastic. it was a bus tour around the city called open tour. we got on a bus at the nearest stop. it was amazing that it stopped in front of all sights, so we could get off and walk around the most famous places. we took thousands of photos of eiffel
tower, the louvre, arch of triumph and other monuments. we were impressed by the number of tourists and the beauty of the places we visited. we spent 4 other days in paris, but this first time our impressions were thrilling.

the next days we visited plenty of museums and had some time for
small shopping to buy souvenirs. last evening we went on a small excursion by boat. it was amazing to be on board and to see all the sights again as if they were saying goodbye to us.

thus, it was fantastic time and i hope to come back to paris one day to get the same marvelous emotions
there.

mr. otis bought the canterville chase, and a few weeks later, he moved into the house with his family. the wife of mr. otis, lucretia, was a beautiful woman and was always in good condition. their eldest son, whose name was washington, was a fair-haired, handsome young man. his sister, virginia,
was fifteen. she was slim and beautiful, with big blue eyes. after virginia came the twins, who were lovely little boys, but they loved to play tricks on people.  

it was a beautiful july evening. the family enjoyed the evening sun as they traveled towards the house. however, as
they came closer to the canterville chase, the sky became dark and large drops of rain began to fall.  

the old woman was standing in front of the house. her name was mrs. amni, and she was a housekeeper in the canterville chase.  

'welcome to the canterville chase,'
she said. 'i have tea ready for you in the library.'  

the family followed her throughout the great hall to the library. linrary was a long room with a large stained glass window at one end. there was a dark red spot on the floor near the fireplace.  

'something has been
spilled here,' said mrs. otis.  

'yes, madam,' said mrs. amni quieyly. 'that is blood.'  

'how horrible! ' exclaimed mrs. otis. 'i don't want blood on my floors! '  

the hat is the blood of lady eleonora de canterville. here the husband, sir simon de canterville,
killed her in 1575. sir simon suddenly disappeared nine years later. no one ever found a hidden body, but a hidden ghost haunts this house. can wash the blood off the floor.  

this is stupid! washington was crying. 'i can clean it right now with pinkerton stain remover! '  

he took a small black wand out of his pocket and robbed a stain. the blood was wrinkled.  

'you see? ' he cried. 'i could do this again! pinkertom! '  

just tjen, a terrible flash of illumination lit up the room, and there was a loud roar of thunder. mrs. amni fell on
fliir.  

'what is the rerrible weatherthey in this country! -said mr. otis.  

' my dear hyrum! 'criedmrs otis.' what can we do with a woman who collapses? '

hearing this, mrs. amni sat up. she was very anhappy .  

'you shouldn’t be angry at the ghost,
sir' 'terrible things are happening in this house.'  

but mr. otis and his wife are not afraid.  

they said that we don’t believe in ghosts. but we would like tea.
